Yesterday I decided to smoke. For the first time this month. Far sooner than I anticipated, but still … almost a month is a pretty significant stretch of time. Enough to really appreciate the benefits. The benefits of both not smoking (if for no other reason than to reduce some of your built-up tolerance), and smoking again with a whole string of sober days and nights to compare it to.
I really do not want to be a daily smoker. But OMG the quality of sleep I got last night was so much better than all of the other nights this month.
The main benefit for me of smoking pot for sleep is that I seem to dream less. While I definitely had dreams last night, they didnt spill over into all of the other parts of the night and into the morning. My entire night wasn’t so consumed by dreaming. I felt like I got deeper, less mentally-active sleep.
Also I just don’t want my flower to go to waste.
It’s bedtime again. The window is open and rain falling gently outside.
I’m going to hit the bong now, say goodnight, and have sweet dreams. Dreams … but not so many of them, all night long.
